First African Diaspora Entrepreneurship Awards Tonight in Montreal, Canada

The first edition of an award ceremony honoring African entrepreneurs of the diaspora will be held tonight in Montreal, Canada. The mega-event is co-organized by The African Foundation for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (AFFEED), an NGO launched four years ago that ambitions to promote entrepreneurship and the concept of Zero Capital and Export-Driven Entrepreneur (ZCE). AFFEED is the brain child of African economist Samuel Apossan Mathey who serves as its president and CEO.

Other co-organizers, based in America, Africa and Europe, include Nephtali Consulting, Africa-Canada-Monde and Rdio Centre Ville.

The nominees, listed herein, will be rewarded in a multitude of fields, including the economic sector (agribusiness, industry, services, technological innovation), culture, gender promotion, the environment, and more.

With the inflow of newcomers adding to previous generations, the African diaspora in these host-countries, on all continents, is constantly growing in number and developing into a force to reckon with.
